I'm back on the bandwagon!

HEY EVERYONE!!!!

been so long between post.... oops! But I have been very busy with my gorgeous little man! And my mum has been staying too, which has been great, I've been able to get out of the house much more often lately! But seeing as she leaves tonight, I have to get used to being a homebody again, oh well!

I am still wheelchair bound for out of the house, but getting much better movement with the walking frame in the house, and have even (as of yesterday) started practising with crutches in the hope of being able to start trying harder things like STAIRS in the next few weeks. So that is great! And our church has been wonderful and has set up a roster of help for during the week while everyone is at work to help me with things that I can't do, like washing... oh the washing is HUGE with a baby isn't it!

Anyway, I have decided that next saturday, providing I get the ok from my OB on monday for my 6 week check-up, that I'll be going back to weight watchers! When I came home from the hospital I was about 1 kilo above goal... but since then then I have been RAVONOUS and have been eating too much obviously! So I am keen to get the breastfeeding info and get going back to goal! I think I have 4 or so to get there, and I'm happy for it to take as long as it likes since I can't exercise... so long as the scales don't continue the upwards motion!

anyway, best be off to tend to my Little man, from now on I'm going to get smaller while he get bigger! :D

Hi Rae
You and Xavier both look gorgeous! and you have done so well to maintain your weight - and basically be back at goal by the time you got home - that's pretty rare after a baby - especially since you can't exercise!
And good on you for going straight back. Like me - you are probably saying - never again - to the weight!
Great to hear from you

HI Rae,
Just popped in to see how you're doing and I must say that both bub and you are looking very well.
He is such a little cutie (like his mother - hehehe) Motherhood obviously suits you.
Glad you are copeing ok with a little help and have been able to get out and about a bit (aren't grandmothers handy sometimes?)
Once again - congrats to both yourself and Duane on surviving 9 very long uncomfortable months(well on your part anyway) the reward you have there in little Xaviers made it all worthwhile I'm sure.
Take care.......Vegiexxx
